Hey everyone so this tutorial was requested and I just wanted to say so sorry that it took so long but here it is! Alright so I hope I can explain this ok. This bracelet is really difficult to explain and it might be a little hard keeping track of the strings. But this is the best I could do. I hope you enjoy it! :)
Step 1: Cut 5 strings the length of your arm span and fold the in half. Then tie a knot so you have a loop. Once you have done that then it should look like the picture below.
Step 2: Put all your strings together except 1 (as the picture shows) With the purple string on the right is the string you are going to be doing a wrap with. (of course you will be using whatever colors you want) With the purple wrap it around all the other strings until it is about a half and inch long.
Step 3: Once you finish your wrap, to keep it in place take the purple string and tie 1 forward knot.
Step 4: Congrats! Now you are done with the first part! Now moving on to the second wrap. This time take 1 string in this case the silver string and put it to the side since it will be the one that you will be wrapping with. Then take 2 different colors (In this case Pink and purple) and put them to the side because these will be the ones that you will be twisting together then you will wrap the twisted strings around the wrap. (I know CONFUSING huh?) Hope the pictures makes it easier.
Step 5: This is what your wrap should look like once your done with step 4. Don't forget to do that 1 forward knot with the silver string once you finish your wrap to keep it in place. Also you should still have your pink and purple strings off to the side. Now with your pink and purple strings you will grab them and twist them together.
Step 6: This is what the pink and purple string looks like once you twisted it. Then what you do is wrap the twisted string around the the silver wrap.
Step 7: This is what is should look like when you have wrapped the twist around the wrap. Once you wrap the twist around the wrap do one more forward knot with the silver string around all the strings including the twist to keep it in place.
Step 8: This time you are just doing a basic wrap. So pick whichever color you want. I picked green. So with the green string wrap it around all the other strings until it is about a half an inch long. Once you finish the wrap be sure to do one forward knot to keep it in place.
Step 9: This is what it will look like once you finish the wrap. And once again don't forget to do that forward knot to secure the wrap.
Step 10: For this wrap you need to set aside the string that you want to use for the main wrap (the string I chose is on the left) and then set aside 2 more strings that you will be using to...well wrap around the wrap. So with the pink string just do a basic wrap around all the strings except the silver one and the orange one. Once you finish the pink wrap do 1 Forward knot to secure it.
Step 11: Once you finish the pink wrap take the the orange string and wrap it around the pink wrap. Then with the silver string wrap it around the pink wrap in the opposite direction you did the orange string. Look at the picture below this one if you need to see what it look likes. It is really hard to explain. Also once you wrap those around do 1 forward knot with the pink string again to secure it all.
Step 12: This picture explains how to wrap the orange and silver strings. Take the orange string on the left side and the silver string on the right side. As shown below.
Step 13: Wrap the orange string around the pink wrap as shown in the picture below. Then wrap the silver string in the opposite direction of the orange one. Then do 1 forward knot with pink string to secure those strings.
Step 14: For this next wrap you need to set aside one color for the main wrap (I chose orange) and 3 other colors for a braid. Take the orange string and do a basic wrap around all string but the pink, green, and silver ones. Then do 1 forward knot to secure the wrap.
Step 15: Now that you finished your main wrap take the 3 other string (Pink, silver, green) and braid them together until they are the same length as the main wrap. Then do 1 forward knot with the orange string around the string you braided with to secure them.
Step 16: (Man this is a LONG tutorial!) That is what it should look like once it is braided. Tie 1 forward knot around it and all the other strings with the orange string to keep it in place.
Step 17: This is what this wrap should look like completed.
Step 18: This time pick three colors (I picked orange, purple, and silver.) and be sure to keep them in the order you want and wrap them around all the other strings. It is just like a basic wrap except you are doing it with three strings at a time.
Step 19: This is what it should look like while you are wrapping it. Be sure to make it about a half and inch long.
Step 20: This is what it will look like once you complete this wrap. Just do one forward knot with the 3 strings you were just using around all the other strings to keep it in place.
Step 21: Congratulations! You are done with all the wraps! You can repeat the wraps as many times as you want until it fits the size of your wrist if you want. But anyway to finish off your bracelet just tie a regular knot.
Step 22: Now just snip the string so you have enough left over to tie onto your loop with.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You have finished the bracelet! The pictures below are what it should look like once it is done! But good job! You survived my very long tutorial that took me FOREVER to make! I hope it made sense! If you have any questions about it just ask in the forum! :) Thanks so much!
